Miss Grenada World

The government issued this press release on their official web site: Olivacce to Serve as MC for Miss Grenada World Pageant

Olivacce who has worked with NBC in New York for the past thirty years just retired and is returning to his native Grenada next month specifically to serve as Master of Ceremonies for the grand affair.

Begging the question, what EXACTLY is the problem with having the show MC’d by a resident Grenadian?

And furthermore, doesn’t the government have anything else to do but issue press releases about a beauty pageant?
