Wha’ happening

Still here – drying out from the terrible weather this past weekend. Tropical Storm Epsilon out in the Atlantic – what a season, ey?And to add to my joy – Grenlec (Grenada Electricity Services) finally discovered that we were hooked back up after Ivan without the proper inspection certificate (yeah yeah – a pankwai) so guess who has been minus power? Mr YingYang has been frantically driving around looking for electrical parts that the electrician requires in order for us to get certified. *sigh* Hopefully by tomorrow we’ll be back up and functioning. Yeah, that’ll teach the YingYangs (and countless other Grenadians) to circumvent the proper procedure. From experience let me tell you that having no water is definitely, infinitely worse than having no power. Every day the generator goes on for a few hours – this keeps the fridge cold overnight and we catch a few minutes to check emails, etc; we get accustomed to going to bed early. But no water? God lord! Just one day of no water is enough to throw a household into utter chaos. I should know – we don’t have a water tank either, and NAWASA is prone to shutting off the water supply on a whim.Anyways.. I gone. More soon.
