Bread price gone down

Yeah boy. After a great deal of government whining and ministerial protestations of “shock” at the Bakers Association’s decision to raise prices of baked goods, the bakeries took it in the wallet and dropped their prices. As the Bakers Association members said, they decided to make the concession as a demonstration of their understanding of the cost-of-living problem in the country. They also pointed out that a similar demonstration on behalf of the government (and the retailers) might be worth considering. So far? No response from the government on that!

Anyway, the price of sliced bread dropped from $5 to $4.50 $4.35 a loaf. *sigh* Yes, the YYs are still on rations.
